Liked initially about the work life balance and quality work but it lasted for few months.

Dislikes

Extremely manager centric company, no visibility for good work, no hike no promotion for many many years, and recently company culture in many specific teams got extremely toxic.

Likes

Business partners are supportive.

Dislikes

No defined process, no work life balance, no fair pay policy, no job security, no appreciation. TA department Employees are working 10 to 12 hours frequently. Have to work in weekends as well and no compensation against it.

No doubt IBM is a great company with rich culture. But I am working for a client(EY)-night shift-7:30p.m-4:30 a.m. But they are not providing night shift allowance. Not even food allowance. Although cab facility is there( Only for night shift). Sometimes I saw our manager is doing micro management. Not a good experience. Not recommending this position/job. If you are working directly for IBM then thats fine. But if you are working for clients then you need to think twice.

IBM is a good company. But got 2% increment after one year. Salary is not equal to work load.

Good exposure and learnt a lot since you have to learn to do things across various functions as there is no support from management

...ven if you go for 11 out of 12 days and escalating against employees on this. Inspite of being the best performer, no appreciation email or blue points ever received, no bonus as contractors are not eligible for it inspite of working 12+ hrs a day and no hike, no benefits, no wfh, not able to leave early and mandatory campus hiring events outside of regular work with no credit for it, mandatory going for office lunches and events and need to pay for yourself in pathetic food places.

...his blood and torturing innocent members of the team is his favourite time pass. No promotion no salary hike no conversion. Stay away from IBM HR folks.
