Hybrid working model. Great team and strong supporting managers.

Dislikes

The only thing which I did not like about hsbc was, salary hike is not discussed during appraisal time, and once you get the number there is no scope for discussion.

1. No micro management until you are doing your task properly

Dislikes

1. Make sure you join with good package so that you can stay for some year because hikes are very low. 2. Less opportunities for in role promotions & IJP process is not transparent 3. Work culture is average as not much team bonding activity happens

1. Work- life balance can be good if your team is supportive. 2. European work culture can be seen in some teams if managers are cool.

1. Poor compensation. 2. Place is filled with vendors which affects the team culture alot. Vendors generally agree to work longer hours, which forces entire team to work longer. 3. Technology exposure is very limited. 4. The cool factor with software engineer is missing because decisions are largely bank influenced.

Work life balance, good environment to work. No unnecessary pressure of work. You can manage out time to up skill yourself within office hours as well.

Compensation for sure. It may give a good lure, but yearly hikes are meagre. But overall, if you are more on learning side, go for it. Good place to learn and achieve.
