I worked in HSBC Kolkata so rating as per my experience there - Internal growth is minimal, too much cost cutting, micro management, no focus on skill development, too much politics inside, hikes are like peanuts you have to be on good books of your managers to get good hike, performance doesn’t matter. HSBC should re-access there Management’s skills and compatibility, may be this reason for high attrition.

...e centeric. During the start of covid pandemic they have asked employees to WFH. No jb cuts or bonus cuts heard so far.

I hardly see any career growth, people are just doing IJP to survive in company with their sourcing

...less. * Bonus is dependent on manager relationship and not performance related. * Compensation is pretty average. * Internal movement requires strong recommendations, else doesn't happen.

1) Hdpi finance will help you to grow better than trade finance department. 2) Yearly bonus 3) Job safety 4) Work life balance 5) Hybrid working for just 1 day working.

Employee friendly and supportive management. There are opportunities to grow as well in various field internally.

Dislikes

Salary is way too less given experience of people working and appraisals as well has been very disappointing.
