Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Supportive management and good potential for learning how to lead a project because you gotta have to do everything from scratch. So gives you a good sense of work and how to get started on it.

Dislikes

...le donot want to work and there’s no support from all the permanent employees. No scope for salary growth for FTCs whatsoever.

It’s own by the govt. and govt has lots of plan to make it bigger and guest friendly hotel and off course make it NO -1 hotel in india ...

Dislikes

Department negligence other wise this could be a top ranking hotel of delhi. If we ask anybody about the good hotel of delhi the answer would be ITC HOTELS, TAJ OR LEELA etc.

Have learned purchase procedure in Tendering system. Learned to make Tender Committee Reports, Purchase Orders, Negotiation with Vendors. The thing i liked the most... they have 5 working days and timings were also good

Dislikes

That i was on contract basis.... as that company is under Govrrnment. So they are not making their new staff permanent.
