Salary Expectations
I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Only thing is you get the exposure to alot of things.

Dislikes

Everything specially the HR, Conservative Environment, 0 work life balance. During hiring they tell you only required saturdays will be called, after joining all saturday they will call giving weirdest reasons like holiday compensation, voting day govt. holiday compensation, month end to support ops and sales team and stuff. No OT or compensation or extra payments will be given. HR has one task of making Holiday list of the year, that to is revised multiple times and then compensation game begins. Ah not to forget the water situation here. No water in Toilets which is the most basic thing in any workplace.
