Dislikes

No work life balance, you are always unsure about your leaving time from office. Otherwise good opportunities who are available for work any time in day. Company needs such people only. If you try to be punctual, its highly discouraged as all that matters is how long you can stay after finishing your day. Things comes always unplanned here which makes difficult to manage personal life.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
