Salary Expectations
I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Everyday we meet new people. Everyday we travel new places for selling company's products. My teammates was great. I learned how to talk with unknown person about unknown product and how to convince them that this is the best product with value for money.

Dislikes

Compensation is decent, but growth is slow. The work pressure is very high. Sometimes I have to work 12 - 14 hours straight in a day as I have to visit some client home in evening for replace dispute products. I work there with no fixed salary and it's very painful.
