Salary Negotiation in an interview
Hi, I have had a first round of interview with the company. And mentioned my salary expectations as 15- 20% from my previous LPA. But after that I feel like I have undervalued my expectations. Being in the field for 9 years with the required skill, considering the market and the prospect company is a well known builder, i should have asked more. Anyway a face to face interview is scheduled next week. How to ask them a higher salary from what I have mentioned earlier. And how much I can ask more. Please help. Thanks in advance.

There is scope for learning. If you do not want to involve in politics you can choose not to. Work environment is good & unless you tread on someone's else's shoes you are safe.

Main decision making officers are not open to fresh ideas. Too much time taken to take decision resulting in loss of man days & missing deadlines.
