I am working in this company (ADCAT dept) for the last 2 years. Even in the period of lockdown, they allowed us to WFH without any salary deduction. Sat-Sun is compulsory off. Work-life balance. ADCAT dept has a startup environment so there is a lot of transparency. Good for freshers

Dislikes

Since this is not a tech company one shouldn't expect much but then too I would like to highlight a few points. Since there is no proper software development process so the quality of the project is worse. The fact is nobody cares until something crashes. No focus on best practices at all. Non-tech PM will make you laugh and sick at the same time. Managers do not value any technical suggestions so there will be a time where one would lose hope and run along with it. 90% of projects are scrapped within a few months after development. Lack of training for freshers/Interns pushes them in the wrong direction.

The work life balance is really good. Job security is also great. During the covid pandemic, we were made assure that our jobs are secure. And the scale of knowledge growth for freshers are very high

HDFC Life primarily exploits its employees by imposing excessive work pressure and making unnecessary salary deductions. They promise promotions twice a year, but these commitments are often ignored due to office politics. There is a notable lack of job security, and the company does not provide any training during the induction process. Employees are expected to perform tasks without proper guidance. The company culture is poor; it relies solely on its brand name while subjecting employees to undue stress. There is a lack of transparency regarding targets and achievements, leading to significant mental pressure. As a result, the work-life balance is severely affected, and most employees do not feel valued in this environment.

Nothing great to vouch for, strong in processes only for front line people. HDFC. Salary will br creditrd on time just like other big corporates

No work life balance and respect, tremendous pressure.. Should do work like robot. For managers rules will be bent, for front line employees they will be very rigid with rules. Double standards

Everyone has engaged to pressuries us to do insurance 9. There is no truth about this. 10. Work life balance worst Customer telling us to withdraw policy but Manager telling us to not to do that.
