Salary and perks are pretty good. Company policy,self learning and development are well defined. Management is very supportive. Work life balance is pretty good.

Dislikes

Group insurance benefit quite less. It should be increased. Adding beneficiaries is quite costly. In health insurance part only two beneficiaries can be added. Apart from spouse and two children, two more beneficiaries should be allowed to add with some extra cost.

Within 4 years of joining I've got promoted twice FLS to FLL. It's all about you cope up with the culture. You'll have enough opportunities to grow in your career by this organisation

May be the pay is quite low on comparison with market standards

The office opening and closing timing are very punctual.

...work life balance is very pathetic in sales ,there is no freedom in sales here .The compensation and the full salary don't come month by month. Any new joinee should not expect his ID card before 5 to 6 th months these are all delaying due to frequently changing the HR department and there horrible delay work.At the time of joining everyone expected something better but ultimately this is a living of foolish paradise.

HDFC Life primarily exploits its employees by imposing excessive work pressure and making unnecessary salary deductions. They promise promotions twice a year, but these commitments are often ignored due to office politics. There is a notable lack of job security, and the company does not provide any training during the induction process. Employees are expected to perform tasks without proper guidance. The company culture is poor; it relies solely on its brand name while subjecting employees to undue stress. There is a lack of transparency regarding targets and achievements, leading to significant mental pressure. As a result, the work-life balance is severely affected, and most employees do not feel valued in this environment.
