HDFC is a huge brand and provides a lot of benefits to the new joinee in terms of Learning ecosystem, Data to work on for sales, analytical driven data to target prospective customers, infrastructure and very easy to use applications. You will find great employees as well as great BMs but it depends on your luck only because some BM are helpful and others are just opposite. HDFC can be a great place to work if the pressure can be made limited and HRs policy gets improved.

Dislikes

HRs are just there to decide your compensation, you face any issues, the line HR won't do anything because he thinks he can't go against the Cluster head. We work usually for 12hours like the usual timing to leave home was 8 to 8:30. Some BMs are over exploitative and treat you so bad that you sometimes feel like unworthy of good treatment. Cluster heads have a lot of pressure and they release the pressure on BMs and BMs release the pressure on the employees and employees just can't do anything except doing the business. Both operations and sales profile do the business and it doesn't matter whether you are cashier or Operations manager. Politics can easily be seen in clusters and whatever BM do with the employees there is no one who listens because the top management is the one who starts the chain of pressure. Even the RBB head went onto define the almost unachievable target like every staff have to do 1Savings Account and 2Unique FD RD daily and total 3 FD RD daily. Believe me this is close to impossible tasks and even MISs justified my points like only 1% employee could achieve the given targets. I have a lot of points but you will get an idea with this as what are the things that can be improved in HDFC.

Dislikes

No work life balance. Pathetic Management. Poor implementation of HR policies. No team outings after covid. Food allowance stopped after covid. Relocation is very tough. If you are in a metro city. Maybe you'll have good experience but in tier 2 cities, working is pathetic.

Good but,very High pressure for operation staff for sales work with,sales target of casa,fd, insurance,sip, other, In this organization there is nothing in operation work in retail branch banking. If sales pressure trun off from service satff then no job is better of it.

No skill development for employees in HDFC and there is no Good Culture at HDFC - No value and vishion for the employee here - Only the name - nothing is there inside
