Only thing that you can have work life balance but that comes at the cost of no promotion and salary hike

It’s a federal structure, everything goes with big approval process which will kills time and subsequent fly resource start enjoying the delay in everything. No recognization and not a single year appraisal happen on time .

Salary is credited to the bank account on time.

Poor project management. Poor culture. No support from seniors. No coordination in the team. Working on an average for 11-12 hours daily. Handling work of 4/5 person. No work life balance.

...sal Management doesn't allow you to switch technology and project that easily. AMP bonus , remember you will give a 1-2 lac when you will be leaving HCL. Highly disappointed with this .

The plus with HCL is like if you are lucky and get a good client/project you can have a good work life balance.

Their are multiple cons in the company - 1. They will deduct money from your salary unnecessarily in the name of variable which they say is rating based. I personally never got less than 9/10 in quarterly ratings but still they used to deduct around 60% from EPB. 2. Zero hikes / No promotions. In my almost 2 year career no hikes happened. 3. It is top heavy company. There are 2-3 key people in every project who decides the fate of others. Full of egoistic people in management.
