Always in the business market they are in sharing mode. When delivering the appraisals hike then then pay least like (30-40%) only . Kind of work they provide is always more as compare to yearly appraisals. This makes the employee work ethics becomes sharp and later their choice becomes better in choosing other companies.

Low salary, Very minimal appraisals, Worst retain policy, Manager based organisation (hike, promotion etc depends on manager regardless your skills and work), Forceful deductions from in-hand salary.
