HCL put good effort to train their employees . Job security is good when compared to other IT firms.

Salary breakup , when it comes to take home salary it shall be very less. very Poor appraisal. You will never know when will you get your appraisal , you have to keep on waiting . 90 days notice period , But HCL wont encourage recruiting candidates who has same notice period . PF amount is maintained by HCL trust , its nearly impossible to transfer out PF money when you move out.

Work life balance you will get but on the other hand salary, employee benefits, appraisals are not even ok ok. Whatever you are getting at the time of hiring just keep it that amount . Don't expect

Apart from job security , there is nothing. Also if you are fresher you can start your carrier since it is so called big MNC, but don't stay here more than 2 years if you are fresher.

Negligible appraisal. No promotions . There is no standard of giving salary. Junior employee in same team with lower band could have higher salary than senior with upper band. They do not give any goodies on Diwali/new year. They do not give any money on referrals. Just the extra miles points.

In HCL salary breakup is a biggest scam. Because if you are joining company with 15 LPA, your take home will be around 95K. Remaining 30k is not assured to return to you. So please dont join HCL if your family is fully depends only on your salary.
