Salary and appraisal are terrible. The company sits on appraisal letters for 6 or more months even after the completion of appraisal cycle. Then gives pathetic hikes and even that is not at the same time. People with different ratings appraisal becomes effective at different times. Loss is shared with employees in terms of differed or no hikes. But PROFITS are shared only amongst the promoters. shareholders and CXOs.

Recruiter promised that I will be receiving the entire variable pay for the first year but I received only for a month and from second month I have not even received 50 percent. No hike/night shift allowance for E3 and above bands . Every project have 3 managers (reporting manager, service managers, who will be part of HCL for 10 or 15 years ) , and who used to micromanage to an extreme, they will ask you to work on company holiday and they won’t approve your comp off or Pay for the holiday. Once the project is stabilised , they will release the highly paid resource to the bench

HCLTECH is a good company to work with. The work-life balance is good, but it depends on the project/account. The work atmosphere is good.

poor work-life balance, below-average salary and benefits, limited career growth opportunities, inconsistent management quality, concerns about job security due to project-based work, and a perception of inadequate salary hikes even with good performance

we work really hard in project but the salary we are getting as junior's salary. I am not at happy with my hikes even though I got exceptional performance

We can learn some other skills via some platform like Percipio. This is an advantage.

Salary hike is extremely worst. I'm very disappointed about that. And, they are very conscious about getting work from employee they treat like a machine.
