They are good in providing trainings.

...en engage the employees. I hve never seen a worst HR team in any organization. No retention of the people, they just want freshers to be onboarded and they expect a fresher with 10000 salary to manage team, customer, escalations etc. They don't give training. All the freshers they onboard are really of no use as the communication is so pathetic.

Likes

Good work culture; gives great work-life balance. Also offers great job security.

Dislikes

No salary normalization; if you have joined for a low salary and stay long, your CTC will be way below HCL standards (forget about Market stds!)

Working with Geometric/HCL technologies gives me sense of pride for what I did and achieved over the years. My superiors gave me freedom to work how I want and always encourage me to improve on my abilities.

Increments and salary package is below par.

Low career growth, Long notice period, variable amount not paying at the time of resignation, you must complete 60 days post appraisal cycle.

Likes

I have freedom to to my job and I like the atmosphere. There were good times of travel. Learning opportunities are good where I work.

Dislikes

Usual politics, as the growth opportunities are limited. Salary is way below the industry standards. Appraisal system is bad, often hit by bell curve.
