I like the way HCL take care of its employees. Even during COVID19, hcl paid our salary and takes good care of our mental as well as physical health. The work life balance is great at HCL with Job security.

Dislikes

HCL has multiple projects running so every project has their own work environment and ethics. So, there are internal politics and favoritism present. Micromanagement hampers the real talent and potential of a genuine employee who doesn't involve much into the gossips with managers and taking credits of their peers works. So the funda here is, if you want to sustain you need to network with the managers and need to be in their good books to make progress in your career with HCL or the project you are working in. Even the good ratings and appraisal is being given mostly to their favorites.

If we are looking for cool life then its good.. Work culture is good we can easily balance the prof and personal life.

Dislikes

Don't expect the hike and promotions. If we are working for pay then I shouldn't recommand this company but am sure the life will go cool with less work presure here

Career is jigsaw puzzle ,you will have to solve and find out your responsibility which as fresher was difficult to know right from beginning though it helped you grow and mature as individual.

Only liked one thing that HCL provided voucher for aws certification.

...ed in offer letter also). Now this component has been brought under performance. Managers gives random rating so that employee gets less variable pay almost 30% 40%. If a manager gives good rating, the rating is decreased by HR on purpose (Confirmed by HR itself ) so that employees would be payed as much as less variable pay. There are times, when manager forgets to give you rating and in that case default rating will be 0 and employee would be payed 0% monthly variable and annual variable. Regarding certification Voucher - Need to follow up for many months to get the voucher. Weekend Work : In case if you have worked on weekend, employee does not get comp off.

HCL is a very good company for you if you have assigned with some project. It will provide you complete salary even though you are intern or in bench.

Dislikes

Mass layoffs in covid time they literally terminated 100s of people without showing any cause and they simply spoiled freshers careers without providing any technical training and without assigning any projects. Simply placed them on bench and terminated.
