As a fresher I would suggest not to join hcl , if you are interested in coding and development. It's good for those people who have family and need work life balance. Most of the projects are maintenance or support so you won't be able to learn much .but if it comes to job security then I agree yes hcl has a quite secure job.

HCL makes employee comfortable. Have huge cafeteria. No worry about job security. Work culture depends on your manager.

Salary hike is not happening. Appraisal policy always mystery. Due to pandemic they changed policy and skill allowence got dropped.

...iting. Worst project managers... Bullying and harassment is common over there. Compensation and appraisal depends upon the project you got hired. Now a days, there is no job security in HCL. Work culture is awful over there, especially for women.

Everything including culture, work life, salary, promotion. They won't pay variable pay. Unnecessary deductions in salary with no reason. If we ask They will not respond but close the ticket telling policy without telling what policy says.

If we are looking for cool life then its good.. Work culture is good we can easily balance the prof and personal life.

Dislikes

Don't expect the hike and promotions. If we are working for pay then I shouldn't recommand this company but am sure the life will go cool with less work presure here
