Unfortunately nothing.

Dislikes

Very unprofessional and unethical people. The CEO tells something but does not commit to it. Asked me to look for an office space in Hyderabad though I identified three places rejected it also said will provide two sales assistants but did not. No office in Hyderabad. Sent a sales report daily and they used to check with agencies whether I visited them. CEO has got a sick mentality. Lot of politics. Never ever join this company.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
