It's policy are in place covering all minutes aspects.
Salary credited at month end without fail.
Dussehra and Kali Puja celebrated in its housing colony with lot of curricular activities and foods.
Gated community with club for security of family and children.
Necessary grocery,ATM, Laundry, medicine shop is inside colony.
You will get promotion but no monetary gain.
Location wise lack of medical facilities,
Even Haldia does not have any multi speciality hospital.
You will get more snake around in this place.
Not any park exist nearby so that you will plan to go with your family.
One of the most boring time you will feel staying in haldia.
Public transport from haldia is worst.
Haldia has a local Railway station with only 1 platform.
For major connectivity you have to travel either Mecheda, kharagpur or Howrah .
You will get the job role which you were in 10 years back.
All the automation are obsolete,no upgradation.
People are lethargic to work in .Only their mouth works for job concern.
People are more interested in low cost canteen food.
Plant conditions are worsening day by day.
Field operators don't open any valve without casual support.
All SIC and SSM sleep early than others in night.
All jobs are in the sake of request and thru contractual workers involvement.
Don't utilise the talents in proper way.
No mix work culture.Only Bengali >90%.
For field operators job designations are Assistant with so many grades.
Infrastructure wise not upgrading .
Lot of safety concern exist in plant and accident prone work stations.
Lot of leakages and clamping ,Lot of manual operations of instruments as those are not operable in auto/cascade.
Heavy noise in plant due to leak.
UG drain are clogged with heavier HC.
No stencils on pipeline.
Office staff will treat you as perv your designation.
After few years you will feel like lagging behind in all aspects in comparison to your friends working in other organisation.
Lot of internal office politics.
No freedom at all.
HR people are not employee friendly ,they are busy with their own hustle mussle.
The H.R.E.L. Township is one the best townships available in the city.
Good medical benefits for employee as well as family.
Good exposure to a lot of technological aspects.
Average pay is way less than other industries in the same sector.
Appraisal rating system is extremely biased. Same people keep on getting highest ratings year after year without doing anything just because of favouritism.
Very poor work culture, toxic environment.
Not at all a "start-of-career" kind of company.

Work culture is very well and good, salary and increment is definitely high , just example I joined this company in feb, 2015 at salary 5.85 lacs CTC, now april 2017 my salary reached at 8.46 lacs per annum .no politics is there, at last work - life balance is best as earlier .I worked here freely and friendly .
Job Security: Very good
Work Culture: Selected few gets all the credits of good works & scapegoats are maligned for upper / middle management's failure.
Company Policies: Policies are (1) Kolkata office's higher mgmt persons-centric, (2) policies can be shamelessly altered varying based on person to person. (3) if required, management can even tell some unwritten rules (obviously without showing any written proof) to prove/disprove some points.
... discriminations. Having no rule or no single same yardstick is the rule in HPL. Most people (save some selected few) do not get market prevailing salary package w.r.t. their respective years of experience. On top of that, people's appraisals (& thereby their future / growth) are mercilessly butchered in guise of bell-curve for only 800 employees.
