Mr. Shakti Jain the owner is very humble person.

Dislikes

Posted to Mumbai branch and the Branch manager is totally insecure person. He follows the old way of door knocking marketing and expects the same from the individual. Prices of the products are not at all competitive.

Great Eastern is a well organized company. Established since 1983, company is stable and process oriented. Work culture is good where everyone's thoughts and ideas are getting valued. Company policies are according to best industry practices and flexible.

Dislikes

Not very competitive! Where the rest of the world is competing with each other with the jet speed, GEIPL is still conservative in fast growing ideas.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
