Unpaid Dues: At the heart of the issue lies the staggering number of ex-employees, including myself, who are still awaiting their final settlements. It's an irony that while we await our settlements, the CEO Khayl Reis Lalani and President Karim Lalani (also known as Kas Lalani / Kaz Lalani) continue to deflect responsibility. Their excuse? Lack of funds! Yet, according to well-placed sources, the Lalanis have allegedly earned close to (maybe more than) $10,000/- in August 2024 via DMM Services Pvt. Ltd. - a second company they own. The hypocrisy is glaring - especially since their rented apartment in Andheri - West costs them between Rs. 1,00,000 - Rs. 1,75,000/- per month. How they choose to spend their finances is none of our business, unless it affects our long overdue payments, and going by history it has. The Disappearing Act: Further compounding the issue is the Lalanis' decision to shut down their office in Andheri - West. This might have been a strategic move to cut costs, but it smacks of a more sinister intent - to distance themselves from various unpaid vendors and ex-employees knocking on their door. Meanwhile, the teams at Glutaweiss Cosmetics Pvt. Ltd. and DMM Services Pvt. Ltd., continue to work from home, while the Glutaweis (now Glutaweiss) address in Andheri - West is still listed on Google, at the time of typing this review. Financial Irregularities: According to their former HR Head, TDS was deducted from employees salaries, however, the deducted amount wasn't remitted to the appropriate authorities. I cannot substantiate this claim, since I was told about this, but given the lack of accountability and responsibility when it comes to making payments, I wouldn't be surprised if this claim is in fact true! Dodging Accountability: In a move that smacks of cowardice, the CEO Khayl Reis Lalani and President Karim Lalani (also known as Kas Lalani and Kaz Lalani) deactivated their LinkedIn profiles shortly after their former HR Head posted a review expressing her frustration about unpaid dues. It's telling that instead of addressing the criticism, the Lalanis chose to deactivate their accounts. Kaz Lalani still has an alternate account on the site, however, his primary account has been deactivated. You can still find both of them on Instagram, though. In conclusion, Glutaweiss Cosmetics Pvt. Ltd. is a cautionary tale for employees, vendors and consumers alike. As the Lalanis continue to evade responsibility, it's clear that their priorities lie not with their employees, vendors or even their consumers, but with their own financial gain. Those considering any form of association with this company, should think twice.
