Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Gislen Software is a very good place to work. It is the best place to learn new things, and grow in your career. We get a lot of opportunities and responsibilities. Great place with Work-Life balance. I have really learnt a lot and my way of working and handling issues in project has improved after i started working with Gislen Software. Proud to be part of this organization

Dislikes

I won't say that i dislike, but I would say that it can be improved. Specially the onsite opportunities are very short term. It will be good if there is long term onsite opportunities.
