...t of a team that pushes for the achievement of the organisational objectives. Eventhough there are no other benefits aside my salary I will enjoy working with the ministry. Regular in-service trainings has made me achieve a lot and my position as a Nurse In-Charge for over 6 years has shape for Administrative duties and basic Financial Management skills.

Dislikes

Indiscipline because everyone thinks the work belongs to government. The work pressure is very high. I do not receive appreciation. There is no insurance for workers, no relocation allowance, no support care for children, sometimes no accommodation, no free meals

Likes

Ghana Health service is opened to all trained and qualified staffs who had their training from a recognized health training . The company provides Nurses with the competent nurses care needed .

Dislikes

Compensation is decent,and growth is high. The work pressure is very high. Sometimes ,I have to work 12-17 house straight in a day as I have to attend clients calls in the night. Manager's want individuals to work hard but there's no motivation, which is why I have to take back my suggestions most of the times. I do receive appreciation from my clients but mostly go unnoticed during my mid- year appraisal. Also,there is job training for all staffs but the in-charges descides and the one they like attend most of the job- training

It helps an individual to get exposed to different conditions and equipment which makes working become easy

Dislikes

Transfer issues is a major problem in Ghana health service. Everything is complicated and tough in transfer to different place of work

No PPEs are available for health workers. But before a client is diagnosed as positive from Covid 19, he or she comes into contact with a lot of health workers at the hospital and even beyond.

Likes

There is always the opportunity to grow career wise which is interesting. Again,there is fairness in promotion.

Dislikes

Study leave is still not properly streamlined as some few people still have favourites,also,work environment is not always conducive.In some offices,basic working tools are lucking.
