10 hour workdays? Glad I quit Genpact
I’m just relieved I got out in time...I was with Genpact till last month. Genpact wants its employees to start working 10 hours a day 5 days a week...that's 50 hours weekly. And this isn't for a startup or leadership role. It's for freshers. Entry level roles with 10 hour shifts? are you serious? In 2025? When we’re talking about 4 day workweeks and burnout awareness? I’m not saying people shouldn’t work hard....we all do. But let’s stop pretending this is normal or productive. Longer hours don’t mean better output. In most cases, it just means more stress, more health issues, and faster exits. If you don’t trust your team to perform in 8 hours, maybe it’s not the employees who need training. Or 2 extra hours me koi kuch vaise bhi nahi ukhaad raha.

Bench option gives you relief even if you are deboarded from one process you will get 3 months

Dislikes

No fair compensation as per the work they want the employee to do. Transport facilities are inhumane. No HR support and no help from management.

The only thing good about Genpact is Job Security.

Dislikes

...ost cutting to the extent where there are no tissues provided in washroom. You will be forced to work on weekends without any additional pay. They won’t allow to carry phones to floor due to this you won’t be able to attend interview calls. 9 out of 10 people give this reason for still staying with Genpact. On the scale of 1 to 10 I would rate this company 2. Don’t join this company at any cost.

...r worked in such a dishonest company. Starting with HR, they delay meal tickets. The bonus that managers say we earn, are always paid at least 2 months late. I had a misfortune of horrible, prejudiced manager. He already told us to our face that he doesn't hire homosexual, because they are fragile. He always causes phychological terror with te team, if people don't do what he wants.

Promotion system is pathetic, lot of politics, no growth, no good salary, no transport, no night shift allowance, no family medical coverage, does not matter for them if you work for 1 year or 10 years for them.
