...y have only one lac of coverage for mediclaim which is too low in today's time .annual salary hikes and promotion rate are too low as compared to other companies.they won't listen to you when you want to discuss about your salary and appraisals .your hardware is not recognised and the culture will force you to be a mediocre person because they do not appreciate the good employee

It's a good company for freshers to start their carrier where they can Learn & Earn. The culture and environment is best in the industry which gives employees mental satisfaction.

Company needs to improve pay scale and promotion policies.

No two years are same, every year there is a new challenge, leadership is great ads they empower you to take creative decisions. In house management trainings like Gold program is great

Joined in 2011 as a fresher & it took almost 8 years to become AM. Genpact seems to be an average employer in terms of internal growth & better for the people of changing the employers in every 2 yrs . Learning was one of the important aspect previously but not anymore. The promotions are majorly dependent Managers / AVP recommendation and have nothing to do with accomplishments related to the core job activity , no matter what value you have created for the organisation & clients. If you are experienced and joining at a better package with less expectations in terms of designation growth & annual appraisal (5-7%), it's an option to look forward for. Alternatively , you need to be a person who knows how to maintain yourself in good books and personally connected with your Supervisor and his boss, with 'Never say No to boss' attitude.
