Job security and work life balance(due to work from home). It's good if you want to do mundane work 5 days a week and don't want to bother yourself for rest 2 days

Dislikes

Pay is below standard. Lots of politics in service operations. You can join if you want to pursue a side hustle but not recommended for growth and good compensation.

Likes

Strong leadership, clear vision, impact on clients is phenomenal. Exposure that Gartner gives is unparalleled. Work life balance, flexibility, being in control of ones own schedule is one of the best I've seen.

Dislikes

Promotion process is opaque, no market correction, compensation is low as compared to industry standards or even with newer peers. Unfortunately this is why analysts leave the role.

Likes

The culture is mostly polite and respectful. Good company for a retirement lifestyle. Good work life balance for the most part.

Dislikes

...le skill development, thus limiting your growth avenues outside the company. 2. Extremely low pay by market standards. Not even kidding. 3. Not a place for ambitious people, good for those seeking a retirement lifestyle in their youth. Stronghold of a couple of people in managing all opportunities for the India Research team. 4. The HR is polite but not independent. They share all information (not in writing obviously) with the India leadership. People have had a history of being threatened for consequences if they go to HR.

- Terrible culture, bad management. Managers are more into flattering the US counterparts, and thus overloading their team with grunt and overwork - No growth opportunities - Terrible work, no skill development

Gartner has a great culture. Management is extremely helpful, your views are valued and you look forward to work when you come the next day.

Dislikes

Compensation isn't that great, if compensation can be improved then Gartner can compete with likes of Mckinsey & BCG.
