Pay is below standard. Lots of politics in service operations. You can join if you want to pursue a side hustle but not recommended for growth and good compensation.

- Terrible culture, bad management. Managers are more into flattering the US counterparts, and thus overloading their team with grunt and overwork - No growth opportunities - Terrible work, no skill development

Gartner has a great culture. Management is extremely helpful, your views are valued and you look forward to work when you come the next day.

Dislikes

Compensation isn't that great, if compensation can be improved then Gartner can compete with likes of Mckinsey & BCG.

Likes

Gartner is the one of the best pay masters with uncapped incentives. If you are an overachiever the quantum of money you can get is huge. The office space is very good, you get free meals with other perks. Workwise you get to interact with top notch professionals within and outside Gartner.

Dislikes

Too much office politics. Hazy sales policies, cut throat competition. In the MSE segment, the sales managers will do things to pull you down, and they love gossiping about your personal and professional aspects.

...its for employees. Found the company great for someone who has family /kids etc. Can settle down here for a long time if the salary is given as per your choice. No strict deadlines and everyone is friendly

Dislikes

Not much exposure to other technologies. Not much travel. Little bit politics present in upper management.
