They are not giving promotion on time. No appraisal period sometimes they are giving hike on Apr and sometimes on Aug No job security No values to employees after resignation

Immediate supervisors are mostly honest while giving feedbacks and appraisal discussions. Work life balance is good. I found the work culture good though it has significantly worsen compared to early days.

Dislikes

Career growth is terrible specifically for long timers. They are trying to revive the pay structure but there is no career progression.

It depends on the team so you can not say just based on your experience whether work culture is good or bad. Overall it's not that bad to not consider altogether.

The freshers joining after college are getting better pay than me, poor increment and long promotion time. No extra benefits.

...really want to learn and grow and excel do-not join this organisation i request. Your salary , perks, appraisals , everything is below average only. Plus they will demotivate you at every possible events and some day or other you will start thinking whether you actually are good or not. They will fight with you over basic things even though they know it is right. They will never keep their chat history active otherwise their all these activities will get tracked. Their Analytics is far most the worst i have ever seen and heard. So choice is all yours. Best of luck

Terrible management, They always do micro-management, they will suppose to help you in your growth but instead will ruin your day doing multiple calls, work flow is terrible. Suddenly they take decisions and juggle you between projects. Cognizant will force you to touch the clients feet when it comes to work. My senior directly said if client say A for Ballon say that dont question. If you question they will highlight your name and ask managers to micro manage you in everything. They dont know work ethics as well. One of the biggest problem is the moment you will have your appraisal or increment they will surely ruin your ratings. This happened with my whole team for example client has shared appreciation letter to 2 of us and next day manager said our performance is below average. Even though you perform well you can never get 4 or 5 star rating as per my manager. If you get 2 escalations your whole year’s good work and rating goes to 2 star. So please make sure if you are planning to move here think twice

The company provides good opportunities regarding working onsite in countries like US and EU, you are safe if you are in billable roles and client is happy with you, in this case it would be more like a govt job's job security.

Dislikes

The growth is very slow, compensation is also not upto mark when compared to other companies in same domain, you have longer working hours, you don't see management/HR concerned about you , they just need deliverables with good quality and on time, no focus on individual's development and growth, you have to fight for promotions which usually happen very late.
