I'm not too fond of the lack of financial compensation for the time and effort invested in the tasks. Also, when I started this internship, there weren't clear directions and instructions. I used to be lost and reach out, but no one assisted until new people became squad leaders - there was then communication and reliable available assistance. However, I think this is what made my internship longer than I had anticipated it to be. Moreover, there are financial commitments that are not compensated for, which makes fulfilling all requirements hard and may lead to the termination of the internship - so this internship opportunity segregates between those who afford and have access.

I liked the opportunity of remote work at GAO Tek Inc. I also liked the collaboration of my leaders with the team and how helpful and supportive they were.

I disliked not having any pay as an intern which made my work less productive and efficient.
