.... People tend to leave the organisation only for betterment which is everywhere. Salary package is excellent. Work environment is good. Innovative research activities are encouraged by the management. Increments are performance based.

Dislikes

A few people in the organisation who have their own axe to grind indulge in petty politics and try to make ridiculous suggestions causing interference in others' work which is not a good tradeoff. A few officers who claim themselves to be close to management are egoistic. Management needs to keep a watch on such so-called favourites. Training programs for staff are needed so when necessary anyone could fit in any other person's place.

Salary is always delayed( 2-3 months even) No job security, you go and ask Director HR - Shilpi about salary and you are asked to quit of you don't get salary. Increment is only in Computer Science department, rest get chillar and SLLL hasn't even got that since years. They want to work for you and don't ask anything. ACs only work during NAAC, NBA visits and in October month to show new students about so called fully ACs. Students never got their security back....Ask any! If you are a boot licker of Reg or your Deans, you keep getting promotions and increments. Timetables and days are changed on papers and ERP softwares (Moodle or iCloud) to show their work timings to NAAC and NBA people to get ratings. You never get your full and final unless you have strong connections or you have best friends in HR... Baki sb thik hai🤣

I would love to work in this University because lot opportunities here like patent , soft skill development, intellectual property right, article publications etc

Salary is good here in compare to other university but salary is delay only issue here .

I worked hard during whole lockdown, even on weekends but there was no extra benefits.. Just forget about benefits, they were even not giving our salaries... Salaries were pending 4-5 months. Till now I am waiting... Hence no support from university.

No AC in staff rooms, no salary on time, no benefits for extra weekends, No facilities. No separate toilets for staff

Best thing about working at Galgotias University was faculties and students who still worked hard in the face of the most pathetic administration. Most of the faculty is new so there's opportunity to build CV in admin roles. Work-life balance is fine as you only go to the university 5 days a week at max for 8 hours per day.

Dislikes

...of classes and most students are those who would never get admission anywhere. SALARY IS HELD FOR ONE MONTH FROM STARTING AND THERE IS NO GUARANTEE ON WHEN NEXT SALARY WILL COME. Forget research when AC doesnt function even in Library. The University is a prime example of what is wrong with the education system in India where no norms are being followed and things are running on jugaad and probably bribes.
