Salary Negotiation in an interview
Hi, I have had a first round of interview with the company. And mentioned my salary expectations as 15- 20% from my previous LPA. But after that I feel like I have undervalued my expectations. Being in the field for 9 years with the required skill, considering the market and the prospect company is a well known builder, i should have asked more. Anyway a face to face interview is scheduled next week. How to ask them a higher salary from what I have mentioned earlier. And how much I can ask more. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Basically it's a Govt P U College so the facilities are not so good. But it's a nice flatform to begin our carrier as a teaching faculty. Residing in a rural area, not having convenient transport facilities is major impact behind not many permanent lecturer choose this college. With having most of guest lecturers and limited number of students, the college achieving 100% result every year which is rare achievement in all our state. Take a moment to appreciate !

Since it's a Govt institution, principal might come n go. As per my experience I worked under 2 principals. One is quite encouraging and the other is completely torturing personality ( can't name them which is whom 😂) . Though it's a Govt college there wil be high pressure regarding getting sent result. Class timings wil not be our priority.
