I joined fiat India as a GET . IF You are from an NIT then its useless to join fiat, its like you should keep in mind that you will leave within a year and you will pay them 3 lakh just to leave. They will give department according to them not according to what knowledge and skills you have. In short better to prepare for competitive exam if you don't have any other option then fiat .Also the pay is far less , they have reduced their CTC from last year for senior executive who does that 🥲.
Nothing. I'm staying here just so that I'll be able to support my family till I find another job

...yone including HODs.
7. Very bad appraisal system. Bootlickers are winners.
8. CTC includes deductibles like food, transportation, etc- They take around 2000rs from your salary every month for these. Plus, they cut insurance premiums for group health policy.
9. Expect 1000calls from your manager when you are on vacation-- and, they ask you to do all the work even when you are sick/traveling. I had to work on hospital bed once due to 'gali' from my manager. My mother got sick and my HOD told me to first clear the work for 1 week before going.
10. You need to travel in old buses to office. Pune to office distance is 45kms=1.5hrs. Basically, you start from your home at 6.30am and reach back at 8pm.Then you work from home till 9pm! (fiapl's idea of work life balance)
11. HR doesn't exist. They just dance to the music of level 1 bosses.
12. CAR Plant is the worst. This place is going to be a rotten hell if the board doesn't act on concerns of employees
13. No feedback systems for employees.
...bus drive to office ( in case you live in the nearest good place i.e Wagholi)
5. Hardly the salary gets increased.
6. Manual work, no automation.
7. Zero skill development and learning (they will provide you free LinkedIn learning courses but after getting a day off in 9 days with 14hours of work and 3 hour drive no time to study or develop any skill).
...dership team member is capable of anything just know how to make your life hell. They'll make you work like donkeys and pay you peanuts instead. No consideration for weekends or after office hours. Work-life balance is zero. No facilities or employee friendly policies. Joining this organisation was the biggest mistake I ever made.
No work life balance , terrible experience . Factory is far away from pune . Compensation is below average . Middle managers dont have any team leading or grooming skills. Everything will be done on urgent basis & no proper planning.
