Open Environment for employee working in Fero. Also equal opportunity given to each one to work independently in project/Product feature. Happy to have open session to discuss thought regarding the improvement of product or process. Give broad way to work on project and listen to their input. Reporting manager are very helpful and flexible in term of WFH or Leaves. In any emergency Manager also understand the situation and allow employee for flexibility in terms of Leaves or WFH. HR also very supportive. CEO is very open minded and very close to each one of the employees.

Nothing critical in terms of Organization but yes there were very young staff which need more guidance in Development as well as in managing the task assigned to them. Also require to focus more on the Process in some of team that is not much but up to certain level.

The company is small, so it;s easy to reach out to upper management. Unfortunately, that's often necessary because the company is in such bad shape.

Dislikes

1. The company lacks a clear vision for the future. Despite being a product-based company, it operates more like a service-based one. 2. There is no work life balance. I've spent 2 months working late into the night on projects without any leave. This isn't just my experience, my entire team has faced the same. The worst part is that our efforts go unrecognised and unappreciated. 3. The company is overly focused on job titles. They won't give you financial promotions, but they'll give you a new title and more responsibilities. 4. The VP of the product (Keval Patel) is the sole decision maker on technical matters, despite lacking the necessary knowledge. He makes decision independently, disregarding customer needs. 5. There's no proper process in place. When something goes wrong, upper management, especially the VP, shifts all the blame onto the developers. 6. They expect us to complete projects that should take at least six months in just three, even though they don't have a fully developed product. Many customer have cancelled their contracts because of this. 7. If you raise concerns about a project or management, nothing will be done. They'll listen, but even if you're right, they won't act. Management has a monopoly on decision making. 8. The company's hierarchy is a mess. There are fewer developers, but more Team Leads, AVPs and VPs, all of whom end up doing the work of developers. 9.No one in the company performs their role according to their title - The CEO is more interested in selling the company than running it. - The CTO is focused solely on his small team. - The Deputy CTO talks a lot but doesn't deliver. - The VPs patch things up and then place the blame on the developers - The AVPs and TLs do the actual work meant for developers.
