If you are lucky enough to be part of the right team, you'll have good work life balance and a good team culture where you'll at least not be absolutely terrified of Mondays and drag through your week for the weekend. The leave policy was good while I was working at EYGBS. My team and team culture was devoid of toxic politics and I had the opportunity to decide what I want to do.

...ned in the JD also, the actual job is far from what the initial expectation was. The hiring process is a nightmare, salary is miniscule, almost every function has absolute chernobyl level toxicity, leaders favour their own people. Talent is colluded with head hunters for hiring and you'll get zero results on applying directly to career page. I was a part of an internal support team and had access to data and people from various functions in EY GBS. Apart from the fact that there is absolutely no clarity to ANYONE what they are doing, if you are a yapper you might succeed but in an incompetent space such as EY GBS, your likeability is your biggest asset, since there is no real work that gets done here.

Work life balance is jus a funny word for them. Working 24/7 without even overtime benefits. Unrealistic expectations from employees. No proper headcount in the team. Peak seasons are like nightmares and off season is jus that we get a breath time.

Being software developer in EY, all the compensations, hike salary and accessories provided by the company is really good.

Dislikes

It all depends on project but it's hard to move to other project as per your aspirations. Work life balance is oke but since we use laptop we might get late calls for urgent meetings

The company is very good in terms of learning and development. it has a very good employee friendly policies including the Medical Insurance. Overall satisfied with the experience
