Provides good compensation as compared to some of its competitors.

Dislikes

The organization is not at all concerned about work-life balance of the employees. During busy season, which might last for 4-5 months, you're expected to work for at least 13 hours a day, yes, that's a minimum. Recognition of work never comes into play. Teammates are not supportive, overall, not at all a good place to work.

Likes

The working hours during work from home are not established properly as they would expect us to be working around the clock.

Dislikes

...assigned to a senior will be dumped on a staff as there is no one overseeing it. And the compensation during covid was not satisfactory , how do you expect a second year staff to work while the compensation being paid is equal to a fresher?

I feel so so assured with job I have and need not worry about job security. Work culture in EY has always been employee friendly, at the moment I’m enjoying each and every moment i spend in EY.

I would recommend if a better salary hike could be provided every year and also wish to see more and more IJP.

If you are lucky enough to be part of the right team, you'll have good work life balance and a good team culture where you'll at least not be absolutely terrified of Mondays and drag through your week for the weekend. The leave policy was good while I was working at EYGBS. My team and team culture was devoid of toxic politics and I had the opportunity to decide what I want to do.

...ned in the JD also, the actual job is far from what the initial expectation was. The hiring process is a nightmare, salary is miniscule, almost every function has absolute chernobyl level toxicity, leaders favour their own people. Talent is colluded with head hunters for hiring and you'll get zero results on applying directly to career page. I was a part of an internal support team and had access to data and people from various functions in EY GBS. Apart from the fact that there is absolutely no clarity to ANYONE what they are doing, if you are a yapper you might succeed but in an incompetent space such as EY GBS, your likeability is your biggest asset, since there is no real work that gets done here.

... deal with onshore and within teams also talking in English has been normalised. And If we talk about Salary then ya it provides little extra than other industries and Big 4s India obviously because they are earning in pounds and Dollars and giving us penny but for us Penny is a lot... ❤️

Dislikes

Work wise, you may be little bit dissatisfied because level of work is not that much challenging where you need extra skills. But there are some engagements where you are given full engagement to handle from GDS side and its kinda feeling of our ownership.
