Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Knowledgible people all round. Never had a single problem about salary or benefits. They give you leaves as needed Seasoned founder and core team

Dislikes

Lack of hiring and team building exercises (regular one on one with manager, town hall meetings etc) Some pivots in the product

The only expectation is work, as long as you are completing your deliverables you're good. No unnecessary hassle of explaining why you are offline at some hour. Very "chill" work environment.

Dislikes

Nothing as such.
