I really like the culture of Ericsson. There is job security. Most of all you don't have to be stuck at single project, if you have the potential and capability to grow you can get into any project. There is constant feedback taken from your managers and peers.

There is no likely process for promotions and salary growth.

Superb work culture and good Work life Balance. The encourage you to take soo many certifications to polish your skills.

Dislikes

Not all people get good salary hike. If you are in Networking then it would be difficult for you to switch companies. Company not willing to pay more to the existing employees. Hard to change your project or domain.

It is a great organization to work on. Won the "Great Place to Work" award back to back since last 7-8 years. Work culture is the best I have seen so far in my 14+ yrs in the industry. Very transparent in terms of executive communications. Great career paths and opportunity to work in latest technologies like AI, blockchain, IoT, Machine learning etc. The organization makes sincere efforts to gather employee feedback and add them to the company goals. Management is approachable. Company has abolished hierarchical structures and now follows a flat organization structure.

Dislikes

Compensation could be improved. Internal employees who have been the architect of the growth are not give substantial raises due to HR policy of maximum raise % whereas external hires are offered great amounts. This causes a some disappointment among employees and one of the prime cause of the attrition.

I don't have much things to write. Some of us deserves better salary hike every year. atleast those who are staying here for years.

...omotions take years, sometime never happens, irrespective of your performance. - very poor salary structure. - almost impossible to change team/project/practice. - back dated technology with very few scope for real development work specially in BDGS India division. - Almost no on-site. - it's a very good company if you don't have much aspiration and waiting for retirements. - India employees are considered as body shoppers/helper of the foreign product development units. - You cant move to product units even if have the capability and aspirations.
