EPAM is service base company.. so, you will be deployed on multiple projects which will help you to learn more thing but at the cost of no work life balance.

Progress is slow. No work life balance. No hike or proper promotion. Higher management is biased at Rus-Ukraine war. management take side of Ukraine and desparately ask their employees to support and raise a fund for Ukraine..

There's nothing Good about the Company. DO NOT JOIN THIS AT ALL. They'll hire you at a lesser salary than expected and then fire you for no reason.

Annual hike depends on your current salary/scale , if you are on upper band then your hike will be screwed irrespective of what rating you get and they will push you for promotion interviews

They provide excellent salary. And they use all latest technologies.

Dislikes

They'll make you work for extra 4-5 hours for the extra 2-4 lakhs they pay. Micro management will be at peaks Managers have metrics and always want you to deliver more story points. If your expected target is 40 story points for week, and one sprint you delivered 50 story points, you no longer can deliver less than 50 story points. They will always push you from next sprint to deliver 60 points. Poor work life balance I tell you. It sucks. Client doesn't even give a **** about your work hours, they schedule meetings considering us to be their daily labourers. Whats disgusting is, client doesn't even provide you with enough information to work on, and managers always support the clients.

-Short term projects -Annual appraisals are not aligned with employee performance -Once we come out from project, again we have to prepare and give interviews to get another project and client interviews are not that easy to crack -For experienced people like 8+ there will be hell lot of expectations and we have to contribute to Epam as well Client with this we lose work life balance. So for experienced people its a challenging company where you have to be very compete and proactive to survive
