GF salary Vs. My salary
Me and my gf have been dating for 5 years. Back in 2020, I started my career with a package of ₹5 LPA. Over the years, I’ve reached ₹22 LPA in 2025. She started her journey with ₹3 LPA(2020) and is now earning ₹8 LPA(2025). We’ve been in a live-in relationship for around 2 years, and the idea was to share expenses equally. But, equal sharing never really happened. If we go to a café she likes, especially with friends, I will pay the entire bill. We only split the house rent and grocery bills. I told her lots of time to cut down these costly cafe expenses or earn more money, increase your package, study and work hard, but.....she is now in her comfort zone. Being from a tech background, I have seen people upgrade their skills and package for a good life in metro cities. I am ready to support her in her studies, but she is like I am earning enough for myself.... No, you are not. I love her, but I don't know how to overcome this issue between us. Please suggest!

Nothing much.

Director & Manager are making the environment very toxic. They constantly asks for updates which is quite frustrating. Training will be of name shake which is as good as nothing. Too much work pressure. No job security. No learning. Appraisal is delayed to much extent. 0% increment. In appraisal form, managers will list down all your faults & shortcomings. They never appreciate the good work done so far. Expectation is very high. If not up to mark, they will simply fire the employees stating that you do not meet their expectation & your last working day will be day after tomorrow. Guys, I strongly advice that before joining this company, think twice. No future in this company. No job assurance. Micro management is at its peak level in this company.

Clueless middle management who can't keep team motivated Inept Top management Nil growth opportunity in technical career path. Archaic technologies used for development. In general the company is extremely top heavy with an army of leads and managers with few developers squeezed in the middle. Most of these leads and managers have zero technical skill and feel threatened by the developers. Thus unhealthy politics plays out where the leads and managers try to retain their relevance.

Center Head runs the office like a manufacturing unit, shouts at people, no empathy though speaks about leadership... HR team works closely with him not with the employees. HR Team snoops in to the engineering meetings run by Sr. Dirs (Not sure what they get our of that ) Very partial about hikes and promotions ( if at all that happens ). Senior Directors and HR are not bothered about how the day to day business goes but want people to work on all the initiatives and now the products are full of issues coming from the field During the employees hike, employees are told they revenue is not good but for Directors and above are under a different scheme and when it comes the revenue is high.
