Salary is given on time. People around are generally good.

No Job security. Dept. head can control hr policy applicable to your department. Promotion and hike is given to bootlickers. Illogical work would be assigned. No joining gift or diwali bonus/gift. Crappy food is served once a month on thursday. It is cheap, oily and impact your gut health.

I liked the non professional culture, you will tasked with any random change request at random time. Speakin sarcastically.

Dislikes

Still being run by founder enginners, who live in the thought their work is great and no one should compare it with modern softwate development patterns. Any new suggestion will be thrown in the bin, and you are stick to use the old technology, just to save time as R and D is where company don't want to invest. If you are implementing your solution, the management expects it to be done in 2 days. If you are following their solution then take as much time you want. That shows the insecurity of they are afraid of the good change

I have positive experience working at egain since 2021. Having a good working culture, learning opportunities, and fair performance appraisals are all important factors that contribute to job satisfaction. I egain has provided me a supportive environment to grow professionally over the past few years. Heavy Work load, constant pampering and blaming Cloud Operations team if there are any manual error even if it is not impacting anything. Why did you use phone? Why did you reached office at 6:55am and not 6:30am? Why are you not at your desk? it’s been more than 15min of break. Why are you here????!!!!! Why are you here is the question that explains everything about the toxic mentality of the manager and Directors. Worst place to work for support and Cloud professionals. Never have I seen any workplace where TL’s and managers so desperate to brain rot their employees till bringing up a suicidal thought. A company should never say to the hired professional that why are you here, you are nothing to us and also expect to work like a robot. Crazy stuff!!!

It is very good workplace for beginner for skill development. Team work at that place is appraiciated.

Growth is slow. Manager don't value an individual's unique straingth, which is why I have to take back my suggestions.
