The only good thing about edag is the fact that salary is always transferred 2-3 days before month-end & the company carries a German/MNC tag.

...y/market average, so a few years down the lane you will be definitely underpaid. Edag does not give Salary Hikes on promotion, Just the designation changes no changes in salary or work type. - Payscale / Increment are Solely Decided by HR , Your Managers cant help in Apprasials even after asking for assistance. So even if you are an exceptional Tallent or Even a Superman you will never get what you deserve in terms of money. You will be put into a common slab and get whatever everyone is getting . - The company is german but that is just a tag, Nothing is here is German. Completely Indian Local company working Style. - Some departments are always overworked, Saturday ,Sundays , holidays, 12 hours of work in a day and Still NO pay for overtime. - No food available in canteen, Worst Tea-Coffee ever. - About Job Security, they don't fire your but they definitely without your Consent/or even a discussion Transfer you to other departments in which you might have no knowledge or skills to work in or which are completely different from your educational/professional background. - Getting Your work done or issues solved from Non-Technical departments is like getting your work done in SBI during lunch hours.

Job security & flexible working hours are the only good factors about working at EDAG.

Dislikes

No growth for junior employees, No Salary growth No Growth in Skills. Management is like a local LALA company, priority for them is company benefit & personal profit over any growth of Employee. Works like an SBI/Government office. 0% cultural activities and Social Interactions. Strict Increment policy, decided solely by HR. Your work, skills & efforts are never appreciated in terms of growth or salary. Even if you tend to overachieve at your job, you are never appreciated. The Increment depends on Department you are working on, your personal contribution means nothing.

...gement is transparent. There is good cafeteria with view and games for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike as per market and also has yearly bonus with Diwali gift as gold coin every year.

...employees. Exceptional cases are there but there is good job security at Edag. There is no salary cut during covid but the workload is increased to the extent. The company's business looks like sinking down. So it's taking a toll on the overall growth and development of employees, managers. - Company Policies: Beware of strange rules. Policies are not visible to employees. Only executives (at most 10 people) have access to it. So they mold policies and rules as per convenience. Employees are always at disadvantage. Employees don't even know rules, regulations, and policies. Another insidious thing is that few teams work for 55-60 hrs a week but working hours are not recorded on paper. Middle management, under the instruction of senior management, record hours as per government policies. On paper, employees don't work more than 9 hours a day but in reality, they work more than 11-12 hours a day including Saturdays. -

The advantage of being at Edag is job security, Other than that there is nothing. Compensation and salary growth has taken a back seat. We have not received any salary hike in the last two years(2019-20).

Overall EDAG is not a great company to work with long-term. Management has several priority issues and you will be expected to have Microsoft Teams meeting everyday. It's quite absurd to be expected to join a Microsoft Teams meeting at the last minute every time. Some meetings last for 1-3 hours, while others can last up to 5-6 hours. You will be expected to figure things out and navigate on your own even as a new hire. There is no orientation, and your manager will say they are available to accept your calls and texts, but you will find out soon enough that is not true. If you even respectfully and professionally question how EDAG operates successfully, they will fire you without notice! Very unprofessional, counter productive, and just ridiculous. EDAG does not care about it's employees at all, which is why I decided to leave this company to pursue better opportunities that are more aligned with professionalism, courtesy, respect, and possess great core values that are positive experiences for customers, employees, and suppliers.
