Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Good work environment and culture. Teammates are supportive and the management is transparent. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair.

DST IT Services India branch is not a original compnay, it's formerly knows as ispace software technologies pvt ltd which is stared around 2001 later DST has acquired the company, DST provided transportation services to all employees at cost of 500 per month, salaries are little lower to current trend and having yearly appraisal, no formal dress code, 30 days leave in a year,

Dislikes

slow in growth and using outdated technologies, migration to new technologies or training is very slow, career growth also very slow and need to wait for opportunities thru email for promotion also
