No system no process for anything.
And most important this company that they have salary range i.e 7-10 of every month which is totally unacceptable.
People are egoistic.
All in all very bad company . I would say not even a IT company just a bunch of free lancers with no market standards no work ethics.
My experience of working in Dotsquares is good. work life balance is great if and only if you are in hands of nice TL, else your life is hell. I was fortunate to be under a very decent TL.
.... I mean no any specialized senior available. You have to google all the things. Salary structure is too low (old ,need revision). No Scope of talent just finish your work that all is the expectation. Pay you bills for extra activities. (Who does this ?). Nothing else except work work and work.
...gement is transparent. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.
There is a lot of politics and the management doesn’t address our issues. Salary is decent but career growth is slow. There is a bond of 2 years before which you cannot resign. On the job training is not given to new joinees
I can write a book of cons :) some of cons are:
1. Last year DS promoted as a CMMI company but honestly this company is not deserver CMMI certification. I think Dotsquares was get certification using money.
2. There is no employe favour policy, Employe policy totally depends on his/her manager.
3. Every manager has it's own policy.
4. Two Saturday compulsory come to company either you have work or not.
5. No medical policy.
6. No gratuity provided to you if you stay in company more than five years.
7. Basic is more than 60% and in salary bifurcation you can see only HRA no other additional parameter added which is give you benefit on tax.
8. If project is not there in team, Manager as to TL chase old client and get new work.
9. If you receive an appraisal you have to sign a bond of another year, if you leave in between you have to refund entire appraisal money.
10. There is not any project management process every project has it's own process.
11. Some of TL:'s working on DS like govt servant.
12. Provided 10 leave in a years only.
13. You have to come office even 15-Aug and 26-Jan or any national holiday.
14. Company working like INVOICE MODEL.
15. TL arrange party using monthly collection amount. Every employe have to pay 100/- per month for party ad birthday celebration.
etc.. etc.. etc..
No good Salary hike, salary increament does not depend on your work, it depends how good relations you have with project manager. HR is dumb.
Position hike will also depend on your PM relations, not matter how good you are. They ask to learn new things, but when you learnt one, they say we have no projects for that.
