The work culture in dohabank is very poor. I worked in Doha Bank for almost 2 years. There is no professionalism at all. You should be ready to do any job whether you are highly skilled in a particular profession. The job security depends on How well you can do slavery work of your Manager and How well you can praise the manager. Your only duty is to help your manager in his growth and appraisal. There will be no credits for what you do. Be ready to get threats of firing from your manager whether you are doing your works well or not.

Job is not secured .as employee doesn’t have any chances to objecting on termination decision. Moreover the staff annual appreasal are not under submission to any revision or checking which is effecting directly to growing and promoting

We had a very aggressive CEO. He used to drive each Divisional/Departmental head on a daily basis asking for results. However, we progressed to our best efforts. Myself and my team members completed approximately 28 medium size Branch refurbishment projects and 9 large size Branch premises, around 18 offsite ATM sites and 4 Drive through ATM sites. Apart from we had smaller role in finishing the interior decoration works related to the 24 storey Head Quarters building in the West Bay, Doha, Qatar.

A number of senior members/ Management members were involved in blame game, although most of them were 45 years of age. Most of them were paid so high, they used to blame their own Staff. I found it too silly.
