Compensation is nice and they also have a hybrid work culture. The CHRO is good.

Dislikes

Terrible work culture. High-level politics and favouritism. Functional Heads can literally harass you, that too for things unrelated with wirk. If you complain against them to the higher authorities then you will be fired.

DMI Finance has a wonderful culture which allows for a very pleasant working environment. The management does not believe in micromanaging which allows the employees to work freely and express ideas.

Dislikes

DMI has been quite backward with the appraisal. Employees who have been working for past 3 years are yet to receive any hike in their pay though they do pay hefty bonuses, they do hold back when it comes to appraisals.

Poor style of working, senior management has given all powers to HOD's who behave like they are they are Big Daddy of everyone under them. Old employees have formed a cartel and don't let anyone new to work until and unless that person bows down to them. Long working hours, and sudden meeting would pop up at last moment. No clarity in work responsibility, product head will behave like business head and business head will not do anything. They are in to business of lending money but don't have a proper underwriting team, underwriting is done mostly on the basis of observation and finding of data science team and not on the basis of credit worthiness of borrowers. Everyone needs to be a data engineer to survive there, if you are not good at numbers then you should be good at buttering your boss and if not good at both then please don't work here.
