Stable job with well structured organisation which provides a good work- life balance.

Dislikes

... travelling and for few profiles the job timing may vary to any hour of the day. Salary paid to traveling employees is not beneficial over non travelling employees.

Need some support with compensation hikes but its great support with timely salaries, most thankful supportive plan 10 rs lunch to employees i.e, "AKSHAYAPATRA ". I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
