Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

...NE as well company used to spend a lot on training its employees for next level. Appraisal process was very transparent but pay package too low compared to to average industry norms. From top to bottom at Circle level was no politics and was success in the region. Circle management always used to involve all category employees for enhancement of business and always recognition stored for them.

Dislikes

Very slow in reaction when competition were aggressive on Price wars post Jio launch.

The company is very good, I love the company employee policy because the company policy is very - very employee friendly. I get lots of opportunities in this company for development my skills.

Dislikes

Company is definitely very good, but growth is slow. Some time managers don't value an individual strengths.

It is very good place to work w.r.t company HR policy, colleagues , homely environment, decision making, ERP system & finally the update of business performance among all employees in a town hall.

Dislikes

Growth & increments are not at per current trend. Frontline manager should more aggressive to towards the actual growth of business. More likely to say, top management should understand the fund situation before making or approval of budget.

Aircel was(as now company file bankruptcy) one of the best corporate, unfortunately now company is on the verge of closing. We as aircelite always miss the work culture.
