Salary and benefits offered is good. They offer flexible work timings, but it is dependent on your manager. Literally, everything about you in the company depends on the manager. The Bengaluru office of Diligent was acquired twice and during the acquisition, even non-deserving people got promotions and these people hold powerful positions in the company.

The work culture is toxic. Regional politics (a lot of them are from Tamil Nadu and they support people from that region). I had the worst manager.

The company is lacking technical leadership at C - level. CTO brings some adhoc strategies every now and then which is becoming major failure and the company is not learning from those failures. Couple of years back, leadership brought new vendor for product development which turned out to be major disaster. People are clueless on how this vendor is selected and what quality aspects are considered. There is another initiative brought up called - Diligent One platform - which is also not a success even though teams has burned out to meet the targets. Salary hikes are pretty average, no initiatives to focus on people development, everyone is running behind some target which is set by leadership teams. Its time to change the culture, the leadership team and the strategy. If not, its going to be a disaster.

There are lot of opportunities to work on new tech stack. Ideas from the team members are heard. Work culture is generally good in terms of work life balance, facilities, people around. Appraisals and promotions are fair. There is a lot of focus on learning alongside the work. This enables individuals to groom and feel confident about working with variety of work.
