Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

... thrown out showing some false reasons. Dont even think about hike or promotion. Try hard at least to save your fixed salary from their horrible deduction policies.

.... No work balance will make you work even after the office hour ends disgusting. However during the salary time they will show you many reasons to deduct unnessarily.
